About the Director
I moved to Moscow in 1986, and discovered my passion for the violin at the age of 4. I have since graduated from the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho with a Violin Performance degree, and I am currently in pursuit of a Masters Degree in Violin Performance and Orchestra Conducting. I have the regular privilege of performing as a soloist, and as a member of local string quartets, orchestras and other ensembles (yes, I fiddle!).
I began teaching privately in 2000, and have had the pleasure to teach over 75 students since that time, several of whom have gone on to pursue their own musical careers in college and beyond. I have also had the opportunity of teaching and conducting locally at Palouse Suzuki Strings, the University of Idaho, New St. Andrews College, Moscow Junior High, and Logos School.
When not teaching, conducting, performing or arranging/composing music, I thoroughly love my life with my husband and three young children.
